Nepal's President Ram Baran Yadav has announced the promulgation of Constitution Of Nepal, 2072 at the special meeting of Constituent Assembly at CA Hall on Sunday.
The constitution which was endorsed and signed by lawmakers and authenticated by the CA Chairman earlier was presented to President by Chairman of CA, Suwash Nembang.President Yadav had signed all 5 copies of the Constitution before presenting to the nation. President had a short written speech afterwards congratulating all Nepalese and wishing for the brighter future of Nepal. After President's speech, the house had passed the proposal of thanks to Mr. President.
Prime Minister Sushil Koirala, CPN UML Chairman KP Oli, CPN Maoist Chairman Prachanda, CA members, leader Madhab Nepal, former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Deputy Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh, Maoist leader Baburam Bhattarai, Home Minister Bamdeb Gautam were present at the special ceremony.
Similarly ministers, former CA members, high ranking officials of Nepal government, civil society representatives, industrialists, foreign diplomats, media and many others were present at the ceremony.
On the occasion of commencement of Constitution, people have celebrated congratulating each other lighting candles, oil lamps at different parts of the nation and also at their homes.
