Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism , Deepak Chandra Amatya Shakya, has resigned from his post yesterday. Amatya was appointed on that post after his party CPN-UML had called back the previous minister Bhim Aacharya.It is understood that Amatya has resigned due to the political pressure from his own leaderships.
Amatya has informed party chairman K. P. Oli before submitting his resignation to PM Sushil Koirala, however his resignation hasn't been accepted yet.It is said that his resignation letter will be accpeted after UML party will submit the new name for the same post.
According to the source party leaders had been giving him unnecessary pressure on appointment of different posts at Tourism Board, Civil Aviation Authority etc.
Kripashur Sherpa, CA member of Bhojpur-1, a close aid of K. P . Oli and Som Prashad Pandey representing CA from Palpa-2, close to leader Madhab Nepal, are the popular new names surfaced among CPN-UML party members for the possible new minister.
