Mahendranagar, Dhanusha, : An improvised explosive device (IED) was exploded Saturday targeting a vehicle carrying Federal Socialist Forum Nepal's chair Upendra Yadav at Janakpur.
An IED went off some 10 meters away from Yadav' vehicle as he was on his way to Janakpur following the election assembly organised by the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal at Phulgama of Dhanusha, according to the police.
The blast occurred near Nocha Pond based in Janakpur Metropolitan City-12 caused no human casualty, however.
