Hugh Hefner, founder of the Playboy Empire, has died at his mansion in Los Angeles, California. Close sources assured TMZ.com that the tycoon died in peace surrounded by his family. Hefner was not in good health, it was a year or so since he was in decline, and he had not been seen in public for quite some time. He dies a little over a year after his brother Keith died fighting cancer.
