The party has Jhanaknath Pande as Vice-President, and General Secretaries Hari Shanker Mishra and Sushil Man Shrestha. Similarly while Spokesperson is Devendra Poudel.
Bhattarai said he formed the new political party as the Nepali Congress deviated from the thoughts of BP's socialism. Mr Haribol Bhattarai is also serving as a Central committee President of "BP Thought Academy ( BP Chintan Pratishthan)
