Kathmandu, June 22: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged the office-bearers of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) to take a lead for country's economic development.
At a meeting with an FNCCI delegation led by President Bhawani Rana on Thursday, the PM said that the government has kept the development of the private sector in top priority and the government has the policy to cooperate with the private sector in the agenda of economic development.
President Rana told RSS that the PM has also promised to hold intensive talks with the private sector before passing the law on consumer rights protection from the Legislature.
